Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of winning silverware are over for another season after losing 1-0 to Manchester City on Sunday.

Spurs went into the Carabao Cup final with a relative rookie at the helm in Ryan Mason, who was taking charge of just his second game as interim boss.

Facing off against Pep Guardiola was a daunting task, and one he couldn’t quite win as Aymeric Laporte’s second-half header gave City the win and the trophy.

Spurs were pretty poor on the day, failing to really lay on glove on City with a flat performance lacking any real attacking verve.

Ex-Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara was raging with the performance, taking to Twitter to share his anger.

O’Hara suggested that Mason got it wrong by bringing on Moussa Sissoko, taking off Lucas Moura and not using Tanguy Ndombele.

O’Hara stated that it was just wasn’t good enough from Spurs, and even stated on his Instagram story that Son Heung-min, Sergio Reguilon, Serge Aurier and Harry Winks were ‘so bad’.

It seems that nobody was safe from O’Hara’s frustration, claiming that Daniel Levy should ‘hang his head in shame’ for sacking Jose Mourinho just days before the cup final.
