The Tottenham Hotspur boss suggested that his job description might have to change.

Jamie O’Hara was a guest on talkSPORT Drive last night, and claimed that Mauricio Pochettino’s recent comments regarding transfers suggests that he has had enough of working under tight financial constraints at Tottenham.
Spurs started their summer transfer window in excellent fashion, bringing in Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon and Jack Clarke from Leeds United, before sending the young winger back to the Championship club on a season-long loan.
Everything seems to have gone quiet in recent weeks, however.
Deals for Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon continues to rumble on in the background, according to the Daily Star, but as things stand, it seems as though Tottenham are no closer to making any new signings.
Pochettino spoke to reporters a couple of days ago, and suggested that he has no say on transfers, as quoted by BBC Sport:
“I know nothing about the situation of my players. I am only coaching them and trying to get the best from them. Sell, buy players, sign contract, not sign contract – I think it is not in my hands, it’s in the club’s hands and Daniel Levy. The club needs to change my title and description. Today, I feel like I am the coach.”
And O’Hara, who made 56 appearances for Spurs, suggested that the Argentine’s comments mean that he is incredibly frustrated with his current situation, when speaking exclusively to talkSPORT Drive last night:

“For me, he’s someone who has built that club, singlehandedly got a squad to play for him and play for the club. He has done such great things. That quote and that interview says to me ‘I’ve had enough of this. I’m fighting against Levy all the time for players that I want and things I want to do’. And this is a big, big season for Spurs.”
This will be a vital remaining seven or eight days for Tottenham before the transfer window slams shut.
It is clear to see that they need further investment in their playing squad, and if Daniel Levy fails to secure deals for some of Pochettino’s key targets, there could be trouble on the horizon for Spurs.
