Rangers will be looking to keep Jamie Murphy at Ibrox this summer.

Rangers loanee Jamie Murphy has told the Daily Record that he expects to make his Ibrox permanent at the end of the season.
Murphy, 28, had been a key player for Brighton and Hove Albion following his 2015 move from Sheffield United, but he found first-team football hard to come by in the Premier League this season.
The Gers swooped to land Murphy in January, bringing the winger in on a loan deal until the end of the season, with the expectation that his move would become permanent.

The move to Ibrox was a dream for boyhood Rangers fan Murphy, and he has made a strong impression so far with three goals to his name in ten games, and he has already chipped in with three assists too.
Rangers have a host of other loan players at the club too, and the focus will soon turn to whether Russell Martin, Sean Goss and Jason Cummings are worth pursuing on permanent deals.
Murphy isn’t much of a worry for fans given the widespread belief that he will soon become a permanent Rangers player, and he has now addressed the situation.

Murphy has told the Daily Record that he thoroughly expects to be a Rangers player next season, and is already a permanent Ibrox player in his mind given his love for the club.
Murphy added that whilst Brighton took on Manchester United this weekend, he feels facing Celtic – or even Kilmarnock – as a Rangers player is even bigger to him having grown up dreaming about playing for the club.
“I expect to be here next season, absolutely,” said Murphy. “I’m already a Rangers player in my mind. Everyone knew how much I wanted this when I got the opportunity and to be fair the manager was great at Brighton – he knew I wanted to come here. They had a big FA Cup game against Manchester United this weekend but, to me, playing against Celtic is a bigger game. Playing Kilmarnock is a bigger game! I dreamed about playing for Rangers when I was a kid,” he added.
