Leeds United played out another hugely entertaining game of football on Saturday evening, drawing 1-1 with Manchester City.

The Whites have had it all this season; they lost 4-3 at Liverpool on the opening day this season, and then beat Fulham 4-3 in their second game.

There was drama last week as Patrick Bamford scored a late winner against Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, before Marcelo Bielsa faced off against Pep Guardiola – an admitted Bielsa fan.

City were excellent in the first half, and took a deserved lead through Raheem Serling, but couldn’t press home their dominance with more goals.

Leeds roared back in the second half, and equalised through Rodrigo having ramped up the pressure on City, and they may even be disappointed to have not won.

It was yet another sign of Leeds’ ability to compete in the Premier League, and put on real spectacles for neutrals to watch.

Pundit Jamie Carragher took to Twitter to suggest that he would have hated to play in such a game, but he loved watching it.

That sums up Leeds under Bielsa; entertaining, breathless football that even neutrals can sit and enjoy for 90 minutes, almost wishing for more.
