Jamie Carragher spoke highly of West Ham United defensive midfielder Tomas Soucek on Monday Night Football on Sky Sports Premier League (11pm, May 10, 2021).
The former Liverpool defender, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, named Soucek as the ‘Signing of the Season’ in the Premier League.
Carragher said that the 26-year-old is a typical David Moyes player, and praised him for his goals and combination with Declan Rice in midfield.
The Englishman said about Soucek on Monday Night Football on Sky Sports Premier League (11pm, May 10, 2021): “He is almost a typical David Moyes player, and I think he has had a huge impact. The goals he get from midfield, the combination with Declan Rice.”
Soucek has been superb for the Hammers and has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season.

The Czech Republic international cost West Ham £4 million in loan fee when they signed him from Slavia Prague on loan in January 2020, and the London club paid a further £15 million in the summer of 2020 to make the deal permanent, according to Sky Sports.
The defensive midfielder has been well worth the money, as he has protected the back-line well and has also contributed with important goals.
The 26-year-old has scored nine goals and provided one assist in 35 Premier League matches for the Hammers this season.
