Jurgen Klopp celebrated a year in charge of Liverpool this week.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has told the Liverpool Echo that he believes the club could not find a better manager than Jurgen Klopp.
This week marked a year for the German boss since he replaced Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
It has been a rollercoaster year under his leadership, with the Reds making two cup finals as well as competing strongly in the Premier League.
One notable aspect of Klopp’s reign so far has been the manner in which he has connected with the club’s ethos, history and fans.

And in that regard, Carragher believes that Liverpool could not find a better fit than the manager they currently have.
“I think Klopp is a special manager, at the moment I don’t think we could get anyone better than him in how he’s suited to the club,” he told the Liverpool Echo.
“In terms of Klopp over these next couple of seasons, he’s been to two cup finals and you hope a manager like that can bring us some trophies, it’s not easy, we’ve had a barren spell.”

If Liverpool are to enjoy success under Klopp, this season may be their best chance of doing so.
After all, unlike their top four rivals, they do not have the distraction of European football this season.
That extra rest time could be very useful for them as it was when they competed for the title under Rodgers.
That Liverpool team ultimately fell short and it will be interesting to see if Klopp has the nous to take them one step further to secure their first Premier League crown.
