Maarten Stekelenburg joined Everton from Fulham in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has suggested in The Daily Mail that Maarten Stekelenburg is not good enough for Everton.
Stekelenburg joined Premier League outfit Everton from Championship club Fulham in the summer transfer window.
As reported by BBC Sport at the time, the 33-year-old goalkeeper signed a three-year contract with the Toffees.
The Dutchman worked with Everton manager Ronald Koeman at Ajax and Southampton.

Former Liverpool defender Carragher believes that Stekelenburg is not good enough to play for Everton.
“Maarten Stekelenburg, their goalkeeper, is not good enough for the top of the Premier League,” Carragher wrote in The Daily Mail.
“He had a fantastic game at Manchester City in October, saving two penalties, but doesn’t possess the quality you need from a keeper for where Everton want to be.”

Everton are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 19 points from 13 matches.
The Toffees will return to action on Sunday evening when they take on Manchester United at Goodison Park.
Koeman’s side will head into the match against United on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium.
Everton’s recent form has not been good, and it will be interesting to see how the Merseyside outfit performance against the Red Devils.
Jose Mourinho’s side are seventh in the standings at the moment with 20 points from 13 games.
