Jamie Carragher told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports that reported Liverpool target Declan Rice will ‘move on’ from West Ham during these coming years.
The TV pundit claimed that West Ham’s defensive rock is a ‘top player’ after claims by his manager that he is worth ‘more than £100 million’, as he told the London Evening Standard.
90 Min previously claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing the thriving England international in the summer.
Carragher reacted to the claims about Rice’s price-tag and how he is a fan of the former Chelsea youth product.
“I think he’s a top player, Declan Rice,” said Carragher. “I am a big fan of his.
“Let’s not forget, his manager was talking about £100 million. More than £100 million. He is obviously trying to get the price up.
“He had a go at his owners for putting that price-tag (of £100 million and Moyes thinking he’s worth more) on him.
“At some stage, he maybe will move on from West Ham. You would expect that. Maybe, in the next three or four years.”

It has been well-documented that Chelsea could be a possible destination for Rice given that he has come through their ranks and his best friend is Mason Mount.
But with the way the Hammers are going, they may just hold one important piece of power, and that’s Champions League football.
At this moment in time, they are two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the table, with their London rivals having played a game extra.
If David Moyes can do the unthinkable and guide West Ham to the elite then not a single soul in East London will worry about their star performer leaving.
