Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies could be fighting for a place with Danny Rose in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Rose was England’s best player last night, as they beat Switzerland 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.
The Tottenham left-back was a constant threat down the left-hand side, and he also looked solid defensively.
And Carragher said: “I think it’s about time we saw the real Danny Rose. He had pace, power and energy and, to be honest, you’d never think he’d lose his place to Ben Davies.
“But Pochettino might be watching that thinking that Ben Davies might have a problem now, if he continues that form.”
Pochettino has slowly started to re-introduce Rose back into Tottenham’s team this term, after what was a disappointing campaign last time out.

Rose barely featured for Spurs after injury, and he was widely expected to move on in the summer.
However, now Rose has stuck around, he adds competition for places in Tottenham’s team – and he could well take over from Davies as first choice.
Davies struggled in his last Spurs appearance against Watford, so Pochettino has a selection dilemma on his hands for the weekend.
