Everton lost again yesterday, with Burnley beating them 2-1 at Turf Moor.

Jamie Carragher has classed Everton’s away form as ‘absolutely embarrassing’, after their latest defeat to Burnley.
The former Liverpool man suggested that Everton’s players should be ashamed of their terrible away form, which has carried on for two seasons now.

“It’s now one win in 23 away from home. That’s absolutely embarrassing for a club of Everton’s size and stature,” Carragher said.
Everton actually had the lead against Burnley, but they were unable to hold on.
The Toffees scored early on through Cenk Tosun, who headed home from a Theo Walcott cross.
However, Ashley Barnes scored a leveller for Burnley early on in the second half, and Chris Wood bagged the winner.

Everton fans were left fuming at full-time, with Allardyce taking on more criticism.
The defeat has left Everton in 10th place in the Premier League table, but they still have a seven point cushion over the relegation zone.
