Liverpool stopper Alisson has made a wonderful start to life at Anfield since signing.
Jamie Carragher has said that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was raving about Alisson after his side progressed in the Champions League last night.
Carragher was at Anfield to watch Liverpool beat Napoli and they owed much to their new goalkeeper.
The Brazilian, who was brought in from Roma in the summer for big-money, made a wonderful save in the latter stages to preserve the Reds’ 1-0 lead.
And it turned out to be crucial, as Liverpool picked up the three points they needed to get through to the knockout stages.
Klopp spotted Carragher at full-time, and told the Liverpool legend that he would have paid double for Alisson, had he known just how good he was.
Allison has made a wonderful start at Anfield, and is quickly becoming a fans’ favourite at Liverpool.
The Reds are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table, and Alisson’s arrival is a major reason behind their unbeaten run.
