Ibrox side Rangers are currently leading the way in the Scottish Premiership, with Steven Gerrard earning praise for the job he is doing.

Carragher now has a vested interest in Rangers’ progress, as he is good friends with boss Steven Gerrard.
And Carragher feels that Rangers are in a good place, after watching the contest which they have put on social media.
“I now follow Rangers on Twitter, so I see all the videos and different things of Steven and the players celebrating a big result. There is a togetherness there,” Carragher said.
“It was a big thing for Rangers to get into the Europa League group stage. That got them a few quid and probably gave them the means to go and get Ryan Kent just before the window closes. Fingers crossed, he can push on even further now.”
Rangers have improved markedly since Gerrard took charge, and look to be in position to really challenge for the league title again now.

Rangers fell just short last campaign, but they now lead the way in Scotland.
Although Gerrard’s men lost the first Old-Firm derby of the season, Rangers have taken advantage of Celtic’s slip-ups since to move to the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Rangers return to action after the international break this weekend, with Gerrard’s side due to take on Hearts on Sunday.
