Jamie Carragher has said on Sky Sports Premier League (8:28pm, October 22, 2021) that he has been very impressed by Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette against Aston Villa.

Arsenal are playing against Villa at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League at the moment.

Carragher is on co-commentary duty for the match for Sky Sports.

The former Liverpool defender has been impressed by Arsenal and France international striker Lacazette.

The 30-year-old has made a rare start.

Lacazette is a striker by trade, but the former Lyon star is playing just off Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at times.

Carragher said in the 27th minute: “I have been really impressed with Lacazette in that number 10 position, just off Aubameyang.”
