Everton were beaten 2-0 by Leicester City at the King Power Stadium yesterday, and they now sit in 18th place in the Premier League table.
Everton are still within touching distance of those ahead of them, but there was a real pressure on them to find the winning formula sooner rather than later.

And Carragher claims that if Everton lose their next league match, then they will have to face up to the fact that they could go down this season.
“If the next game doesn’t go well then you have the next two weeks stewing,” Carragher said. “They have to get something in that Watford game next week. It certainly won’t be easy for them, but if you’re in the bottom three and lose to one of your rivals [in Leicester], that is a big worry.”
