Jamie Carragher has hit back at an angry Everton supporter on Twitter, who accused him of being biased on commentary against Leeds United.
Carragher said that he had never seen a player go down as often as Everton’s Richarlison while speaking to Sky Sports.
But he has now gone on to clarify those statements, after an Everton supporter challenged him on social media.
Richarlison is no stranger to criticism over his tendency to over-react to tackles.
The Everton man is often guilty of being rather overly dramatic, when a tough challenge comes in on him.
However, it is true that he can often be given some rough-hand treatment from defenders, due to his ability in possession.
Opposition teams are always keen to close down Richarlison quickly, as he is one of the biggest dangers that Everton have.
Unfortunately for the Toffees the Brazilian forward wasn’t at his best on Saturday, as they sunk to a 1-0 defeat against Leeds.
