Liverpool signed up yet another player to a long-term deal today.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher has praised Liverpool’s extension of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The young right-back committed his future to Liverpool by signing a new long-term deal with the Premier League leaders earlier today.
In doing so, the 20-year-old becomes the second player to extend his contract at Anfield this week after left-back Andy Robertson also put pen to paper.
Virtually all of the Reds’ big-name players are under contract for the coming years now, and club legend Carragher feels that can only be a huge positive going forward.
He told Sky Sports: “It’s brilliant news. It’s not just Trent it’s Andy Robertson as well.
“I think if you think of Liverpool’s best 11 or 12 players, all of them are under contract now for the next three or four years.
“This season, whether Liverpool win the league or not, there’ll be a basis of a team going forward over the next three or four years that can be successful.”
Indeed, it is a brilliant move by Liverpool. Carragher also touched on the mayhem at Arsenal with regards to contract situations and it’s obvious that the Merseyside club is run excellently.
Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Naby Keita and Fabinho are all contracted until 2023, while Alisson and Joe Gomez are tied down until 2024.
This gives Liverpool plenty of security going forward and if their best players do attract interest at some point in the future, at least they have the security in knowing that they will fetch massive transfer fees.
