Jamie Carragher has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s 4-0 win against Crvena Zvezda at home.
Liverpool got the better of Zvezds 4-0 at Anfield in the Champions League Group C on Wednesday evening.
The Reds were the better side from start to finish, with Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah (twice) and Sadio Mane scoring for the Premier League team.
Liverpool legend Carragher was following the match, and the former England international defender was impressed with the final result.
Carragher was also impressed with the performances produced by Liverpool duo Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool star John Arne Riise has praised 27-year-old winger Shaqiri on Twitter for his performance against Zvezda.
The win on Wednesday means that Liverpool are now top of Champions League Group C with six points from three matches.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are in a great position to progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League this season.
