Jamie Carragher was in action for Liverpool Legend on Saturday.

Fans pretty much dread the international breaks at this point, but at least Rangers and Liverpool fans had something to sink their teeth into on Saturday.
With Steven Gerrard now a Rangers favourite as well as a Liverpool legend, the two sides came together for a charity match at Ibrox.
All proceeds went to the Rangers Charity Foundation and the LFC Foundation, and fans were entertained with a 3-2 win for Liverpool.
After Kris Boyd had missed a penalty, Luis Garcia and Patrik Berger both scored inside the first 17 minutes to put Liverpool 2-0 up, before Boyd pulled one back for Rangers.
Emile Heskey restored Liverpool’s two-goal advantage, only for Peter Lovenkrands to score for Rangers two minutes later, and that’s where the scoring ended, with all goals coming inside the opening half an hour.
Gerrard did actually hit the post from close range in what could have been a superb moment, before he played for Rangers in the goalless second half.

Jamie Carragher joined Gerrard in the Liverpool side, already playing in his second Legends game of the season – and he was asked about his performance after the game.
The defender suggested that he was ‘outstanding’, adding that he could still do a job for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side if they need a defender, even adding that he’s unbeaten in Legends games.
