Everton were beaten 2-1 by Lyon in the Europa League last night.

Jamie Carragher couldn’t help but laugh, as Everton fans got involved in an on-pitch brawl during their side’s match against Lyon last night.
Everton’s and Lyon’s players started to scrap, after a bad challenge by Ashley Williams on the French side’s goalkeeper, Anthony Lopes.

The melee was pushed towards the Gwladys Street End, and the Everton crowd could not resist backing their own players.
The Toffees supporters were spotted racing to support their team, and Carragher found the incidents hilarious.
The scrap appeared to actually inspire Everton, with tempers flaring.
Lyon were 1-0 to the good at that point, but Ashley Williams crashed home a header to level the scores moments after.
Gylfi Sigurdsson then went close with a free-kick, as Everton pushed for a much needed winner.
However, there was a sting in the tale, as Lyon struck a second on the counter to claim the three points and ramp up the pressure on Ronald Koeman.
