Arsenal moved above Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

Pundit Jamie Carragher has told Sky Sports (02/04, 10:23pm) that he thinks Tottenham Hotspur will finish above Arsenal in the Premier League this season.
Spurs travelled to take on title-challenging Liverpool on Sunday, and were the stronger side in the final 10 minutes, with Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli missing chances at 1-1.
However, Tottenham managed to lose in the end, as Hugo Lloris could only parry Mohamed Salah’s late header against defender Toby Alderweireld and into the net for a shocking own goal.
That’s now five Premier League games without a win for Spurs, taking just one point in that run as their place in the top four has suddenly come under real threat.
One of the teams chasing them was Arsenal, who played on Monday against Newcastle United and claimed a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette.
Arsenal have now moved above Spurs and into third place in the Premier League table, two points clear of their bitter rivals as they look to reassert their dominance in North London.

With Manchester United and Chelsea looking to break into the top four too, it promises to be a fierce battle for Champions League football – and pundit Carragher has offered his prediction.
Carragher believes that, despite Arsenal moving above Spurs, Tottenham will finish above Arsenal and claim Champions League football alongside Manchester United, believing that Arsenal’s away form will cost them dearly.
“If I was saying now and had to call it now I’d probably still go for Spurs and Man United,” said Carragher. “I still think that away form [is Arsenal’s issue]. When you say they’re not playing big six rivals, they’re the type of away games that have players and teams at the real top,” he added.
