Jamie Carragher believes big name players will still pick Arsenal over Tottenham Hotspur.

There has been much talk of a power shift in North London, after Spurs finished above Arsenal last term.
However, the Gunners’ 2-0 win over Spurs at the weekend suggests that Mauricio Pochettino’s side still have work to do before they confirm themselves as the dominant force in North London.

And Carragher believes that big name players will still rather sign for Arsenal over Tottenham.
“I think they will finish above them this season, but a power-shift? No. If a big player had the option of Spurs or Arsenal in the summer, I still think a big foreign player would choose Arsenal,” Carragher said.

Arsenal’s victory over Spurs has narrowed the gap between the two sides down to just one point.
Spurs are still in the top four, but they have both Arsenal and Liverpool breathing down their necks.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are next in Premier League action on Saturday when they take on West Bromwich Albion, and the pressure will be on them to get a positive result.
