England’s Jordan Henderson shoots at goal
Former Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to discuss the performance of midfielder Jordan Henderson against Slovakia.
England’s Euro 2016 campaign took another hit on Monday evening, as they drew 0-0 with Slovakia in Saint-Etienne in what was a disappointing performance.

The Three Lions have qualified for the last 16, but they could only manage a second place finish in Group B, finishing below Wales after a frustrating display against Slovakia.
One player who received plenty of criticism for his performance was midfielder Jordan Henderson, whose end product was a constant disappointment for England.

The Liverpool man endured an up-and-down season for the Reds and many believe he shouldn’t even be in the England squad, never mind the starting line-up.
Intriguingly, pundit and former England and Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher took to Twitter during the game to suggest that Henderson and Liverpool team-mate Nathaniel Clyne were excellent down the right hand side for England.

Carragher’s opinion wasn’t met well, and he then had to defend Henderson by highlighting how well he passed the ball, and pointed out that he had also created England’s best two chances on the night.
Here are some of the reactions from Carragher on Twitter to Henderson’s performance against Slovakia…
