Tottenham Hotspur have lost four games so far this season.

Jamie Carragher has told Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports on 10th December, that Tottenham Hotspur would ordinarily have a big problem.

Spurs have lost four games this season, which is as many as any side in the top seven.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have squeezed themselves into the title race.

Tottenham are yet to draw a game, which means that they have been collecting points at a rapid rate, thanks to their 12 victories.

And Carragher said: “Spurs have lost four games already. You think if you lose four games already it’s a big problem. They haven’t drawn a game.

“The killer is probably not losing, it’s drawing too many games. If you’re going for games, it’s better to win one and lose one than draw two. That’s why Spurs are right up there.”

Tottenham picked up their latest win at the weekend when they beat Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Spurs named a rotated side for the contest, but still came out comfortable 2-0 winners, to highlight the strength in their squad.

Tottenham now have picked up more points on their travels than any other team in the Premier League this season.

Spurs’ attention will now be focused on Champions League matters, as they take on Barcelona later this evening.
