Pundit Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to poke fun at Everton after they were drawn against rivals Liverpool in the Third Round of the FA Cup.
The two Merseyside rivals enjoyed a strong weekend, as Liverpool went away to Brighton and came back with a 5-1 victory, having seen Philippe Coutinho, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino run riot on the South Coast.

Back on Merseyside, Everton took to the field for the first time under new manager Sam Allardyce, and claimed a 2-0 home win over Huddersfield Town thanks to goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Whilst those Premier League results were positives for the two teams, the attention turned to the FA Cup on Monday evening, as they entered the competition at the Third Round stage.
Just days away from Liverpool facing Everton in the Premier League, the two teams were drawn against each other for the Third Round of the FA Cup, meaning the two sides will meet twice in quick succession.

After the draw was made, former Liverpool defender and current pundit Jamie Carragher took to Twitter to offer his reaction, suggesting that he can’t wait for the Reds to ruin Everton’s Christmas and their New Year.
However, given the claims that Carragher was an Everton fan growing up, Toffees fanatic and professional boxer Tony Bellew took to Twitter to respond, suggesting that Liverpool wins would make Carragher miserable as, deep down, he is blue at heart rather than red.
