Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford enjoyed a superb World Cup with England.

England are out of the World Cup after losing 2-1 to Croatia in Moscow tonight, with Mario Mandzukic striking the winner in extra time.
The Three Lions went into the game having beaten Sweden 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, and got off to a dream start when Kieran Trippier whipped a free kick into the top corner inside the first four minutes.
However, Croatia steadied themselves and began to take control, with Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric dominating midfield, and it was Ivan Perisic who equalised, sneaking in ahead of Kyle Walker to turn home Sime Vrsaljko’s cross.
The game went to extra time, after a goalless first half, Mandzukic pounced to score, smashing past Jordan Pickford to ultimately send Croatia through.
Zlatko Dalic’s men advance to face France in the final on Sunday, but England can certainly be proud of their efforts having unexpectedly reached the final four of the competition.
A number of players impressed for Gareth Southgate’s side throughout the tournament, with goalkeeper Pickford chief among them with some superb displays, particularly against Sweden.

From his penalty save against Colombia to denying Mandzukic with a superb save tonight, Pickford has starred, and Everton will be delighted with his performances – as long as no other teams come calling for his signature.
With that in mind, pundit Jamie Carragher took to Twitter to praise Pickford as ‘fantastic’, and joked that a bid from rivals Liverpool is on the way given their problems with Loris Karius in goal – but in all likelihood, Everton have little to worry about.
