Everton are set to move for Burnley defender Michael Keane during the summer transfer window.

Jamie Carragher has told Sky Sports, during their live coverage of Manchester United’s match against Burnley on 23rd April, that Michael Keane would be well served by moving to Everton this summer.
Everton have made Keane one of their top transfer targets, heading into the summer transfer window.
The Toffees face competition for the centre-back’s signature from the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
But Carragher believes that Keane should turn down any other clubs, to make sure he switches to Goodison Park.
“There’s talk of Everton going for him. I think that’d be perfect,” Carragher said.
“If he goes somewhere for £15m to £20m, he’s the big signing. Yes, you want to win trophies but the main thing is to play week in, week out.”
Everton have targeted Keane, as Ronald Koeman looks to reduce the average age of his side’s backline.
Everton have an ageing defence currently, and signing some younger options to play at the back has become a priority for the Merseyside club.
The Daily Mail claimed that Everton had already begun discussions with Burnley last week, over a £20 million move.
Keane has made 34 Premier League appearances for Burnley this season, with his performances earning him two caps for England national side.
