Jamie Carragher has praised Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka for his performance against Southampton at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Friday evening.
The former Liverpool defender was impressed by how Saka played for Arsenal in the first half against Southampton, who are one of the favourites to get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Carragher was working as a pundit for the match for Sky Sports.
And he said on Sky Sports Premier League (8:59pm, April 21, 2023) that Saka was “fantastic” in the first half.

HITC Verdict: Impressive performance
In our view, Bukayo Saka played well for Arsenal against Southampton at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Friday evening.
The 21-year-old was a big reason why the Gunners could pick up a point from the game against the Saints in North London.
The England international winger provided the assist for Gabriel Martinelli’s goal in the 20th minute.
Saka also scored on 90 minutes to make it 3-3.
The Arsenal no. 7 has scored 13 goals and given 11 assists in 31 Premier League starts for the Gunners so far this season.
