West Ham United defender Ryan Fredericks was guilty of giving away a penalty for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.

West Ham were beaten 2-1 by United at Old Trafford, and Fredericks was guilty of giving away a penalty during the contest.
The winger got caught the wrong side of Anthony Martial and ended up bringing down the French winger when he was through on goal.
The desperate tackle gave Paul Pogba the chance to score from the spot and he duly converted, which ultimately proved costly for the Hammers.
And Carragher said: “I hate seeing that. Let your goalkeeper do his job and get you out of trouble!”
West Ham’s performance at Old Trafford was still encouraging, despite the defeat.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side were the better team for large portions of the contest, and the display gave West Ham something to build on for the rest of the season.
West Ham are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table, with just four games of the campaign remaining.
