Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 with Everton yesterday, with Tanguy Ndombele recalled to their starting line-up.

Ndombele was taken out of Tottenham’s line-up for their match against Liverpool, but the Frenchman returned at Goodison Park.
Ndombele started well in the contest, but seemed to become more wasteful in possession in the second-half.
Spurs’s record signing was ultimately taken off well before full-time by Mauricio Pochettino, as Tottenham played out a 1-1 draw on Merseyside.
And Carragher admits that he thought that Ndombele’s performance was an odd one.
“He’s had a very strange performance today, Ndombele,” Carragher said.
“He’s played some strange passes second half and given Everton a chance to counter attack two or three times.”

Ndombele was actually taken off the pitch at a time when Tottenham were leading, but Pochettino’s side were unable to hold on.
Spurs conceded a late goal to Cenk Tosun, as they failed to claim what could have been a vital three points.
Tottenham are already 10 points behind the top four now, as they have struggled to live up to expectations so far this term.
