Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has only scored once and claimed one assist so far this season in the Premier League.

Everton paid £45 million for Sigurdsson back in 2017, but the midfielder has not quite managed to live up to his billing.
The attacking midfielder has not scored as regularly for Everton as he did at former club Swansea City.
And after Sigurdsson failed to impress for Toffees against Arsenal yesterday, Carragher stated that Marco Silva’s side need the playmaker to up his game.
Carragher said: “If you look at his stats he’s a luxury. £45 million is massive for Everton, they’ve got to be getting a lot more from him.
“We’re not talking about a young player, he’s 29. He’s got to be doing it now. What they have got back from him for £45 million is not enough.”
Everton slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Arsenal yesterday, despite a display which was encouraging at times.

The Toffees carved out a number of opportunities, but were made to pay for their wastefulness in front of goal.
Sigurdsson has now made six Premier League appearances for Everton this term, but has just one goal and one assist to his name.
Everton have now lost two matches in a row, and are now sat in 12th place in the table.
