Tottenham Hotspur can move nine points clear of the Red Devils with a win.
Jamie Carragher has told Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur could put Manchester United in a “really difficult position” with a victory on Sunday.
Fifth-placed Tottenham travel to Old Trafford in the knowledge that a win would see Mauricio Pochettino’s side move nine points clear of the Red Devils in sixth.
United are already nine points adrift in the race for a Champions League qualification spot but they could well be 12 behind by the time they host Spurs.

It’s also a big clash for the North Londoners, who could be six points off the top four and 10 behind Chelsea in the Premier League title race.
And Carragher says that a win for the visitors would make things very tough for Jose Mourinho and co to achieve what they wanted to this season.

“There’s no doubt Manchester United will have Spurs in their eyes in terms of the team that they probably have to catch,” he told Sky Sports.
“A Spurs win would put Manchester United in a really difficult position.
“Manchester United will look at it as a game that if they win, they’ll be right back in contention.”
