Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was not at his best for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in Madrid.

Kane returned from injury for Tottenham and was put straight back into their starting line-up in Madrid.
However, the Spurs forward was not at his best, as Pochettino’s men lost 2-0 in arguably the biggest game in their history.
Gareth Southgate now faces a similar selection decision to Pochettino, as England prepare to take on Holland in the Nations League.
And Carragher believes that Kane is going to start again for the Three Lions.
He said: “I felt it was a mistake to play him in the Champions League final, but I can understand why. Kane is that big a character. Southgate might be thinking the same, so I still expect him to play tomorrow.”

Tottenham may have reason to hope that Kane doesn’t start for England this evening, as they will want him fully rested for the new campaign.
Kane has played a lot of football over the years, and there is a feeling that the Tottenham man needs to get a full summer of rest before returning to action next season.
