Jamie Carragher told Sky Sports that Jurgen Klopp needs to replace Georginio Wijnaldum at Liverpool.
The Anfield legend was stating that Liverpool need three players to come into their squad in the summer after a season of struggle, injuries and indifferent performances.
After winning their first Premier League title in 30 years last season, the Merseyside ship has been well and truly rocked during this campaign.
And Carragher was clear in the three areas Liverpool need to target when the transfer window re-opens, as he suggested one addition could already be at the club.
“I am convinced they will be back,” said Carragher. “But I still think they need three players.
“They need that centre-back to come in. Maybe he has joined now in Kabak. They need someone to replace Wijanldum and they need someone to come in for the front three.
“And I am not talking about someone to come in on the bench. I am talking about players to come into the team, like Matip, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Van Dijk and Alisson did.”

Only a few months remain on Wijnaldum’s contract at Liverpool and it seems as though he will be heading for the exit door.
Wijnaldum, who joined the Reds for £25 million for 2016 (BBC Sport), was one of the first men purchased by Klopp.
During his time at Anfield, he has been an underrated figure in the middle of the park and if he does depart then there’s no doubt he will leave a club legend.
