Jamie Carragher told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports that Richarlison ‘cut a frustrated figure’ during Everton’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.
Yet another home game and more dropped points from Everton, who are allowing these Champions League places to slip away from them.
Against Palace, in the first half alone, they should have been home and dry, only for their Brazilian speedster, in particular, to miss big chances.
Carragher shared his thoughts on the chances missed by the Everton man and what he noticed about him.
“Throughout the first half, it has been Richarlison really,” said Carragher. “One of them has to go in at least.
“He has cut a frustrated figure in the first half, maybe because he has missed these chances.
“This is one of the biggest ones. You think he is through. He shows good composure and you think ‘he has to score’.
“I think that was a bit of frustration we saw later on from the free-kick. Out of those chances, you expect a player of Richarlison’s ability (to score).”

Everton are sitting eighth in the Premier League table and will be worrying about missing out on European football altogether.
They are two points behind their seventh-placed neighbours having played a game less and are a further five points behind fourth-placed West Ham.
A lack of ruthless nature in the final third is killing Carlo Ancelotti’s men and that’s a bit of a surprise given that they have Dominic Calvert-Lewin in their ranks.
