Dele Alli has scored 10 goals in 19 Premier League appearances for Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Rio Ferdinand and Jamie Carragher have both praised Tottenham Hotspur forward Dele Alli after his display against Chelsea yesterday evening.

Tottenham ended Chelsea’s 13 match winning run last night, after they picked up a 2-0 victory at White Hart Lane.

Alli scored both of Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s goals during the contest, with his performance catching the eye.

Ferdinand believes that Alli has proven his quality over two seasons, while Carragher has retracted a previous statement about Spurs.

Carragher did suggest that Spurs lacked a superstar recently, but he now believes that Alli could be the man to drive them to the Premier League title.

Alli has scored 10 goals in 19 Premier League appearances so far this season, and he is in red-hot form.

Alli has netted six goals in his last three appearances, with the youngster continuing to go from strength to strength at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham have now moved up to third place in the Premier League table – seven points behind league leaders Chelsea.
