Liverpool earned a 3-2 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Liverpool made it difficult for themselves, but in the end they sealed a massive 3-2 victory against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Reds returned to winning ways after a four match winless run that included a 2-0 humiliation in the EFL Cup third round against Leicester City.
Having failed to win in their last two Premier League games – 5-0 defeat against Manchester City, and 1-1 with Burnley, the Reds desperately needed points to keep up the pace with their rivals.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for the Reds when he glanced a header at the far post by picking up a fantastic cross from Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian, who was heavily linked with a move for Barcelona this summer, stepped up and converted a fantastic free-kick 25 yards out to put the Reds 2-0 up.
While Liverpool’s attacking unit were firing all cylinders, the same problems at the back continued. Shinji Okazaki stabbed from close range after Liverpool failing to clear a set-piece.

Jordan Henderson added Liverpool’s third from a swift counter attack. Jamie Vardy restored parity soon after when he nodded past Simon Mignolet.
Referee Anthony Taylor awarded a penalty to Leicester, when he adjudged Mignolet to have brought down an onrushing Vardy, but the Belgian stopper saved the spot-kick to seal three points for the Reds.
Former Liverpool players took to Twitter to express their reactions, including Jamie Carragher, Micky Quinn, and Neil Mellor. Check their tweets below:
