Dele Alli is slowly beginning to find his touch for Tottenham Hotspur as he will now be preparing for a Champions League encounter on Wednesday night.

Jamie Carragher has admitted that he is ‘pleased’ for Dele Alli because there were questions asked about whether the Tottenham man was ‘doing enough’ on the pitch.
Alli has been criticised for his performances this season, as some feel that he is not the same player he was 18 months ago, but he found the back of the net once again over the weekend.
But in recent weeks, he has produced top-quality displays in the Champions League, and scored against Watford, and most recently, Everton.
Speaking to Sky Sports Premier League (03/11/19 at 6:30 pm), former Premier League defender Carragher thinks that Alli is now beginning to shut his critics up.
“The man we have questioned so often in these last few weeks, Dele Alli, is he doing enough? He’s more offensive [against Everton] and maybe he has answered a few of us who were in that studio last Sunday,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“Real quality from Dele Alli. I’m actually pleased for him. We were critical last week and maybe in these last few months – he has shown his quality.”

If Alli can return to his goalscoring best then it will take Tottenham’s performances up a level and it is something that they need.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are yet to put together a string of top-quality performances, but if players like Alli can continue in their ways then the fans won’t be far off from seeing their team at their best again.
On Wednesday night, Spurs will be in Champions League action once again as they take on Red Star Belgrade before they take on in-form Sheffield United in the Premier League.
