Everton are currently five points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table.
Jamie Carragher has joked that he is concerned that Everton could catch Liverpool on Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports on 27th February.
Liverpool were beaten 3-1 by Leicester City, with their poor recent form continuing.
The Reds were awful at the King Power Stadium, and their performance drew a lot of criticism after the match.
Liverpool now have a massive task on their hands if they are to recover and make it into the top four at the end of the season.
And Carragher has suggested that Liverpool may have to look over their shoulder, rather than up the table, unless their form improves.
“I’m more worried about Everton catching us at the moment,” Carragher said, when asked if he was concerned Liverpool wouldn’t make the top four.
Liverpool are currently just five points ahead of Everton, and Ronald Koeman’s side are in much better form.
Everton have impressed in recent months, and they appear to be a much stronger side following the January transfer window.
Everton are next in action against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, while Liverpool take on Arsenal.
