The Rangers winger has not appeared for Steven Gerrard’s side since his Ibrox debut last November.

The Rangers midfielder, Jamie Barjonas, has accused his Ibrox teammate, Serge Atakayi, of pretending he’s injured in what appears to be a tongue-in-cheek exchange on social media.
Atakayi has been sidelined since since the end of November, when he suffered a leg injury on his first-team debut for Rangers.
But despite having appeared to be on the road to recovery earlier this month, the Finnish winger was filmed by Barjonas lying on a treatment table earlier this afternoon.
In a video added to his Instagram story, Barjonas asked: “Serge, are you done pretending you’re injured yet?
“Are you still faking it or what?”

But Atakayi replied, via his own account: “Again with that, boy.

And Barjonas later declared: “He’s ok everyone. Back to ripping defenders apart in no time.”

Barjonas spent the first half of the season away on loan from Rangers to the English League Two side, Bury FC.
But the 19-year-old only played nine times south of the border and has not had his deal extended beyond its expiry at the start of this month.
Can Atakayi and Barjonas still make an impact for Rangers this season?
