Glasgow Rangers defender James Tavernier was in action for Steven Gerrard’s side’s match against Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday.

Rangers defender James Tavernier has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Dundee at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Steven Gerrard’s side got the better of Dundee 4-0 at home, thanks to goals from Lassana Coulibaly, Ryan Kent, James Tavernier and Glenn Middleton.

Tavernier started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the 26-year-old former Newcastle United right-back has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the final result.

Rangers fans have responded to the former Wigan Athletic right-back’s message on Twitter and have praised him.

Over the course of the 90 minute at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, hosts Rangers had 64% of the possession, took 19 shots of which 10 were on target, and earned 15 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Rangers are fourth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with eight points from five matches, seven points behind leaders Heart of Midlothian.
