Rangers defender James Tavernier has taken to Twitter to send a message to the Ibrox club’s fans after the match against Kilmarnock at the weekend.
Steven Gerrard’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Kilmarnock away from home at Rugby Park in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The result means that Rangers have finished nine points behind champions and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic in second place in the league table.
Tavernier has taken to Twitter to thank the Rangers fans for their support, and the former Newcastle United right-back also seems to have dropped a hint on his future.
The 27-year-old has suggested that he will be at Rangers next season, and that means that the right-back does not plan to leave the Ibrox club in the summer transfer window.
According to The Birmingham Mail, West Bromwich Albion in the Championship in England are interested in signing Rangers right-back Tavernier this summer.
