Rangers defender James Tavernier has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Legia Warsaw on Thursday evening.

Steven Gerrard’s side played out a goalless draw with Legia Warsaw away from home in Poland in the first leg of their Europa League playoff round tie.

Right-back Tavernier is pleased with the goalless draw, and is confident of getting the job done in the second leg at Ibrox.

If Rangers win the playoff tie, then they will progress to the group stage of the Europa League for the 2019-20 campaign.

Good result

Rangers will be disappointed that they did not win the match on Thursday evening, as the Gers had some good chances.

However, a goalless draw away from home in an European tie is very positive result, and given the quality of players that Rangers manager Gerrard has at his disposal, the Ibrox faithful should be confident that the team will go through to the group stage.
