Rangers defender James Tavernier has taken to Twitter to express his delight at Steven Gerrard’s side winning in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The Gers got the better of FC Midtjylland 4-2 away from home in the first leg of their Europa League Qualifying Third Round tie.
Alfredo Morelos, Joe Aribo, Nikola Katic and Scott Arfield scored the goals for the Ibrox outfit.
Rangers right-back Tavernier has taken to Twitter to revel in the win on what was transfer deadline day in England.
The 27-year-old defender is not moving back to England this summer, but the former Newcastle United right-back was linked with moves to the Premier League and to the Championship.

According to The Daily Mail, Premier League club Villa and Championship side West Bromwich Albion wanted to sign Tavernier in the summer transfer window.
The Daily Mail had also credited Tavernier’s former club Newcastle with interest in the 27-year-old, who is one of the best and most attack-minded right-backs in the Scottish Premiership.
