It has been another productive week for Rangers as they secured a comfortable win against Livingston over the weekend.

James Tavernier has lauded the ‘absolutely outstanding’ Alfredo Morelos after he helped Rangers secure a comfortable win against Livingston on Sunday afternoon in the Scottish Premiership.
On Thursday night, Morelos scored for the Gers as they secured a memorable win against Porto in the Europa League before he found the back of the net once again yesterday afternoon.
It means that the highly-rated 23-year-old continues to go from strength to strength both on the Scottish domestic circuit and in Europe.
Speaking to Sky Sports Football (10/11/19 at 5:00 pm), Tavernier was left seriously impressed by his Gers teammate as he stated that his numbers this season are ‘crazy’.
“It’s crazy numbers [his goal record],” Tavernier told Sky Sports. “Alfredo has played absolutely outstanding for us throughout the season. Notching up 22 goals is outstanding.
“We want him to keep his head down and keep scoring goals. But he has been terrific for us.”

Morelos has played 26 games in all competitions this season, scoring 22 goals and supplying his teammates with seven assists along the way [transfermarkt].
Nine of his strikes have come in 12 Premiership matches, whilst he is also proving his worth in Europe as he has netted three goals in four group games for his club.
At the rate Morelos is going, he could potentially hit the 40 goal mark this term, especially if Rangers go deep into Europe and further domestic cup competitions.
