Brendan Rodgers left Celtic for Leicester City in February 2009.

Back in February 2009, former Liverpool boss decided to step down from his managerial role at Celtic and take up the job at Leicester City in the Premier League.
Scott was involved in a controversial goal in the game between Celtic and Motherwell just before Rodgers left.
The 18-year-old forward failed to return the ball before Motherwell’s equaliser in the match at Celtic Park.
The teenager became instantly unpopular among the Celtic players and the fans, but the departure of Rodgers soon after took the heat off him.
The immediate story was about Rodgers’s exit from Celtic, not what Scott did, and for that, the 18-year-old forward is pleased and relieved.

Scott told The Scottish Sun: “Brendan Rodgers leaving Celtic took the heat off me, 100 per cent. It all happened a day after that game and it meant I could go back on my phone again.
“When I heard he might be going to Leicester, I thought to myself: ‘This could take the spotlight off me’. I was watching the breaking news on Sky and you wonder if it was just all talk.
“When it did happen and Rodgers moved, everything around me went quiet again. I was even able to look at my phone for the first time in a while.”
Celtic will take on Rangers away from home at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon, while on Saturday afternoon, Motherwell will face St. Johnstone in the league.
