A number of the Whites faithful would love the Reds ace to return to Elland Road in the summer.

Many Leeds United fans continue to have a soft spot for James Milner and plenty hope he will make a return to Elland Road before he hangs up his boots.
The Whites academy graduate, who has turned out in midfield, on the wing and at full-back, famously pipped Wayne Rooney as the Premier League’s youngest goalscorer in December 2002 while in his hometown club’s colours.
Now at Liverpool, the 33-year-old remains the second-youngest PL goalscorer of all time (Transfermarkt), and has enjoyed a thoroughly successful career for club and country, but his Anfield contract is up at the end of the season.
Speaking of Liverpool, they unveiled their brand new kit for the 2019-20 season earlier this week, and sporting the New Balance home shirt were several players including Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker.
Milner, however, was not involved, and he took to Twitter to issue a tongue-in-cheek rebuke to his teammates:
Some Leeds fans subsequently took to the social media platform to give the player a metaphorical nudge on the subject of his future:
