Liverpool’s James Milner has revealed Andrew Robertson’s love for Celtic.

Liverpool midfielder James Milner has told The Herald that teammate Andrew Robertson talks about Celtic ‘non-stop’, forcing him to jokingly support Rangers.
Whilst the Reds will be focused on their upcoming Premier League clash against Leicester City this weekend, there will surely be eyes on the Celtic v Rangers Old Firm clash on Sunday.
Two former Liverpool figures are leading the teams, with ex-Reds boss Brendan Rodgers in charge of Celtic and Anfield legend Steven Gerrard set for his first Old Firm derby as Rangers manager.
The meeting between the two is fascinating given that Rodgers was Gerrard’s manager at Anfield, and with Rangers starting well under Gerrard, Celtic and Rodgers will be desperate to avoid defeat.
There are further connections in the game for Liverpool as duo Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria are on loan at Ibrox whilst ex-Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan was also signed by Gerrard this summer, but there are links for Celtic too.
Left back Andrew Robertson started his career with Celtic before being released at 15 for being too small, with whoever made that decision no doubt cursing the fact that Robertson has starred under Jurgen Klopp.

Now, Liverpool ace James Milner has told The Herald that Robertson still ‘goes on about Celtic non-stop’, showing his love for his boyhood club even to this day despite the fact that they robbed him of his dream of wearing the green and white hoops professionally.
Milner noted that the Liverpool squad will be keeping an eye on the Old Firm derby in part because of Robertson’s Celtic love, but his incessant support has led to Milner jokingly supporting Rangers and former England teammate Gerrard.
“We will definitely be keeping an eye on the Old Firm game at Liverpool,” said Milner. “We have got Robbo in our dressing room who goes on about Celtic non-stop. He will definitely have it on. It was pretty neutral before he came, but I must admit I do lean towards the Rangers side when we are talking about it just to wind him up if nothing else,” he added.
