Liverpool have started the new Premier League campaign with back-to-back wins.

James Miner has shared a picture of a cut above his eye on Instagram following Liverpool’s 2-1 win against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp responded to Milner’s message by calling him ‘Big Terry Butcher’, the England legend who was renowned for his hard-hitting football.
Milner started Liverpool clash at St Mary’s, but Jurgen Klopp did substitute him after the break, as he tried to manage the workload of his players following that gruelling Super Cup win against Chelsea.
Nonetheless, after the game against the Saints, Milner, who seemingly clashed heads with one of the opposition players, sent this message from his personal Instagram account, with Redknapp responding to his message.

It was a big three points for Liverpool because later on that evening, Manchester City dropped two points at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Whilst it is very early days, the Reds are one of only two teams with a 100% start to the season, but that will end one way or another at the weekend.

That’s because that other team is Arsenal and the two heavyweights will face off at Anfield on Saturday evening, with a win for the home team ensuring that they lay down a big marker early on in the season.
Nonetheless, it has been a very productive and successful week for the Merseyside club because on top of their points at Southampton, they also lifted the European Super Cup in Istanbul.
