Liverpool star James Milner has raved about his teammate Roberto Firmino on the club’s official website.

Milner has said that Brazil international forward Firmino had a very good game last night, as Liverpool got the better of Leicester City 3-0 at Anfield in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, scored the third goal for the Reds in the 86th minute.

Milner told Liverpool’s official website: “Bobby, I don’t know what he’s been doing but he was the unluckiest man alive for the first 80 minutes of the game. But he deserved his goal, he was brilliant tonight [and] so unlucky.”

How did Roberto Firmino play against Leicester City?

Firmino has not been in great form in recent games, but the Brazilian was very good against Leicester.

The former Hoffenheim star played deep, was involved in the game a lot, and linked up nicely with Naby Keita and Sadio Mane.

According to WhoScored, the 29-year-old took six shots of which three were on target and one ended in goal, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 85.4%, took 66 touches, attempted four dribbles, and made one tackle.

So far this season, Firmino has scored two goals and provided two assists in nine Premier League matches and has played 94 minutes in the Champions League for Liverpool, according to WhoScored.
