Liverpool are training over in Austria at the moment, gearing up ahead of the new season – and James Milner has been poking fun at Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Reds have been training on the outskirts of Salzburg, and played two friendlies on Tuesday evening.
Liverpool face Wacker Innsbruck and Stuttgart in two 30-minute games earlier this week and continue to work with a game against Mainz coming up on Friday.
One of the main stories from pre-season has been the position of midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain, with Jurgen Klopp experimenting a little.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is a midfielder or winger by trade, but is now being deployed as a false nine as Klopp looks for additional striking options.
The former Arsenal man may get another chance to do that against Mainz, but James Milner has been mocking him ahead of the game.
Milner has taken to Twitter to post a photo from training in which he is trying to shield the ball away from winger Sadio Mane.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is stood next to them simply watching on, with Milner posting just five words to mock his teammate – ‘cheers for the help Ox’!
